Artist in studio dark har, red shirt, in front of paitings, Amanda van Gils

My current work is centred on how memory, belief and accumulated experience shape our inner lives and influence the way we understand what is true.

Through layered watercolour and graphite on linen, I create landscapes and fragments of text that invite reflection and leave space for personal recognition.
